Strengthening global connections requires more than plans. It requires people who understand the direction and are ready to carry it forward.
On March 5, 2026, Danschiel Genre Dean B. Ramos, MSC, Coordinator for Local and International Affairs of PSU Binmaley Campus, participated in the PSU Global Compass: A Capability-Building Program for IRO, GCED Coordinators, and IZN Focal Persons held at ASEANA Hall, Golden Lion Hotel. She attended the program together with Mr. Zairus John Arenas, GCED Coordinator, and Mr. John Bernardo, Chairman of the College of Fisheries and IZN Focal Person for Fisheries.
The program gathered internationalization leaders across Pangasinan State University to align institutional strategies on global partnerships, academic mobility, international programs, and coordination among campuses. Sessions focused on clarifying the roles of International Relations Offices, strengthening coordination with GCED and IZN focal persons, and refining processes that support PSUβs expanding global engagement.
Through dialogue, shared insights, and strategic discussions, the activity reinforced a common direction: positioning PSU campuses to participate more actively in international collaboration while ensuring that global initiatives create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and the wider academic community.
