Today, we celebrate a defining moment in the history of Alpha Phi Omega Philippines.
The amended Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, approved by the delegates during our 37th National General Assembly, have now been officially approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
I must admit, I became emotional when I received the good news. It was a moment of overwhelming gratitude, knowing that our collective hard work, prayer, dialogue, and perseverance have finally come to fruition.
As Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, I am deeply thankful to everyone who made this possible.
To our Committee on Constitutional Amendments, led by Bro. Jigs Aquino (Jay), together with every member of the committee, thank you for your diligence, patience, and unwavering commitment in carefully reviewing, refining, and presenting these amendments.
To Pangulong Fritz Sapon, the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Council Officers, the Council of Elders, the Regional Directorates, our delegates to the National General Assembly, and every Brother and Sister who participated in the consultations, deliberations, and voting processโthank you for placing the welfare of our Fraternity above all else.
This milestone is not the achievement of one person, one committee, or one administration. It is the result of brothers and sisters working together, listening to one another, and choosing progress while remaining faithful to the ideals that have guided Alpha Phi Omega for generations.
With the SEC's approval, our work does not end here. Rather, it opens a new chapterโone that calls upon all of us to faithfully implement these reforms and continue strengthening the governance of our beloved Fraternity.
May we remain united in our cardinal principles as we move forward together.
Congratulations, Alpha Phi Omega Philippines, Inc.
To God be all the glory. โค๏ธ๐๐
