LOOK | ABC President Hon. Eladio A. Galano Joins Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Activities Across Bislig City

ABC President Hon. Eladio A. Galano actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Activities in various schools throughout Bislig City. Demonstrating his unwavering support for education and community development, he personally visited and monitored the opening activities to witness the collective efforts of teachers, parents, volunteers, and other stakeholders in preparing schools for the upcoming academic year.

His visits highlighted the spirit of bayanihan, as communities came together to ensure that schools are safe, clean, and conducive learning environments for all learners. Through these engagements, he reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote quality education and strengthen partnerships between schools and the community.

As part of his support for Brigada Eskwela, ABC President Galano also distributed paint supplies to the following schools:

The Liga ng mga Barangay – Bislig Chapter proudly attended the “Road to Zero Illiteracy” program held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, together with fellow barangay leaders from across the country.

The event highlighted the importance of education, literacy, and strengthened grassroots leadership in building empowered communities.

It also became a meaningful moment of recognition as last termers were acknowledged and awarded certificates for their invaluable service, dedication, and contributions to the Liga ng mga Barangay.

A celebration of leadership, service, and commitment towards a more educated and progressive nation. ✨

The 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒈𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 successfully conducted its 5th Regular Session for Year 2026 on May 14, 2026, at Barangay San Fernando, Bislig City.

The session was presided over by ABC President Hon. Eladio A. Galano, with the active participation of the Punong Barangays of Bislig City.

Several agenda items and matters of public interest were thoroughly discussed during the session. The body also deliberated on current challenges encountered by the barangays and explored practical solutions and strategies to further improve grassroots governance.

As the session concluded, the Liga reaffirmed its dedication to fostering stronger collaboration among barangays and sustaining initiatives that uphold transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance for the continued progress of Bislig City.

Ang City Government of Bislig malipayon nga nagpahibalo nga magsugod na ang 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 karong 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 sa 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼.

Ang maong kalihokan usa ka One-Stop Access to Essential Government Services nga nagtumong sa pagduol sa serbisyo publiko ngadto sa katawhan pinaagi sa paghiusa sa nagkadaiyang opisina sa gobyerno aron mas mapadali ug mas mapalapad ang paghatag serbisyo sa matag barangay.

Kauban sa maong programa ang nagkadaiyang opisina ug ahensya sa lokal nga pangagamhan nga maghatag serbisyo sama sa:

A joint committee meeting of the Committee on Barangay Affairs and Land Boundaries and Settlement, chaired by ABC President Hon. Eladio A. Galano, together with the Committee on Good Government, Public Ethics and Accountability, chaired by Hon. Atty. Alfredo Carmelo, was conducted last Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Legislative Session Hall.

The meeting was convened to deliberate on matters pertaining to SP Resolution No. 2025-531, specifically addressing concerns involving Barangay San Antonio and Barangay San Jose. The barangay councils of both barangays, along with key officials, including City Councilors Hon. Paul E. Vicencio and Hon. Florio S. Josaphat Jr., IPR, as well as Hon. Ana Mae Agusa, SK Federation President, attended the said committee meeting.

The Committee on Administrative Personnel and Services, chaired by City Councilor Hon. Romeo Cacayan, in coordination with the Committee on Barangay Affairs led by ABC President Hon. Eladio A. Galano, convened a joint committee meeting on April 16, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Legislative Session Hall.

During the meeting, the committees thoroughly deliberated on matters concerning the role and participation of barangays in civil society organization, particularly the SP Resolution No. 2025-539, adopting Liga ng mga Barangay Resolution No. 20-2025.

In addition, the body addressed the need to hire additional civil engineers to assist the 24 barangays in the preparation of project documents, pursuant to CDC Resolution No. 7, series of 2025.

Reinforcing collaboration between the city and barangays, the initiative underscores a shared commitment to efficient governance, strengthened institutional support, and the timely delivery of community development projects.
