In anticipation of the arrival of approximately 4,000 tourists and athletes from May 19 to June 7, 2026, the City Government of Bislig has temporarily lifted the existing Tricycle Route Plan within the city to help ease transportation demands and improve mobility during the expected surge of visitors.
Under Memorandum Order No. 391 issued by the Office of the City Mayor, the temporary lifting aims to provide greater flexibility in transport operations, ensure accessibility to key venues, and help manage traffic flow in strategic areas throughout the activity period.
All tricycle operators and drivers are reminded to strictly observe traffic rules, maintain proper coordination, and prioritize passenger safety at all times. Meanwhile, traffic management personnel and concerned offices have likewise been directed to intensify monitoring and implement necessary control measures to maintain peace, order, and public safety.
The regular Tricycle Route Plan shall automatically resume after June 7, 2026, unless otherwise modified through a subsequent issuance.
