The three-day Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) Formulation and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Mainstreaming Training Workshop, held on March 24–26, 2026 at the Bislig City Convention Center, successfully concludes today.
With EnP Elmer S. Mercado as resource speaker, the activity strengthened the capacity of the City Planning Team (CPT) and stakeholders in formulating a risk informed CLUP by aligning roles, refining sectoral analyses, enhancing the City’s Spatial Development Concept, and identifying key action points toward plan completion. The concepts and learnings gained from this activity will be applied in the succeeding workshops and activities related to the CLUP formulation process.
The workshop was actively participated in by all 24 Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Panlungsod Staff, and key offices including the City Mayor’s Office (CMO), City Administrator's Office, City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Health Office (CHO), City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), City Agriculture Office (CAO), City Assessor's Office (CASSO), City Tourism Office, and City Internal Audit and Services Office (CIASO), Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Unit (LEDIPU), Bislig District Hospital (BDH), along with National Government Agencies such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), DENR Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR CENRO), and the Department of Education (DepEd) Bislig City Division.
