The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of LGU Bislig City convened a coordination meeting with key stakeholders to strengthen procurement processes and enhance transparency. The activity was led by BAC Chairman Atty. Neil B. Jao, M.A., M.B.A., Legal Officer, with the support and acknowledgment of City Mayor Florencio C. Garay. Held on May 4, 2026, at the Bislig City Cultural and Sports Center, the meeting brought together Sangguniang Panlungsod council members, department heads, representatives from national agencies, and members of the Technical Working Group (TWG).

The agenda focused on updates related to Republic Act No. 12009, reinforcing compliance, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement.

The activity was guided by Office Circular No. 019, Series of 2026, which highlights the importance of collaboration among agencies in ensuring effective governance and service delivery.
