𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪: Handog ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Marinduque Provincial Office ang Php 1,790,000.00 halaga ng mga kagamitang pangkabuhayan sa Samahan ng mga Magsasaka ng Magapua sa ilalim ng DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) noong Setyembre 21, 2026, sa Mogpog Covered Court, Barangay Gitnang Bayan, Mogpog, Marinduque.

Isandaan at labindalawang miyembro ng samahan ang makikinabang sa mga ipinagkaloob na kagamitan para sa produksyon ng charcoal briquettes, coco fiber, at coco peat mula sa mga produktong mula sa niyog.

Bilang bahagi ng tulong pangkabuhayan, nagsagawa rin si Livelihood Development Specialist (LDS) Ralph Ryan Malinao ng oryentasyon ukol sa wastong pagtatala at pag-iingat ng mga record at dokumento. Katuwang si LDS Bernadeth Enriquez, ipinamahagi ng DOLE sa samahan ang DILP Project Record Book, na magsisilbing gabay sa pagtatala ng kanilang mga benta, gastusin, ipon, at iba pang transaksyong may kaugnayan sa kanilang livelihood project.

Sumailalim din ang mga benepisyaryo sa pagsasanay sa paggawa ng charcoal briquettes na isinagawa ng RM Metalworks mula Nueva Ecija, kung saan itinuro ang wastong proseso at pamamaraan sa produksyon. Isinagawa rin ang pagsasanay sa wastong paggamit, pagpapatakbo, at pangangalaga ng mga makina at kagamitan para sa produksyon ng coco peat at coco fiber.

Dinaluhan ang awarding at turnover ceremony nina Municipal Mayor ng Mogpog Hon. Senen M. Livelo Jr., mga kinatawan ng Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) ng Magapua, mga opisyal at miyembro ng Samahan ng mga Magsasaka ng Magapua, Mogpog PESO Manager Gng. Vivian Logatoc, at DOLE Marinduque Provincial Office Head G. Marjun S. Moreno.

Sa pamamagitan ng DILP, layunin ng DOLE na mapalakas ang kabuhayan ng mga organisadong manggagawa at magsasaka sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng produktibong kagamitan, kaalaman, at suporta na makatutulong sa pagpapaunlad ng kanilang livelihood enterprise at paglikha ng dagdag na oportunidad sa kita.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Marinduque Provincial Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santa Cruz through Municipal Agriculture Office, facilitated the implementation of the KADIWA ng Pangulo through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Program as part of the Handog ng Pangulo 2026.

A total of 13 TUPAD beneficiaries were engaged for fifteen (15) days of work, tasked with displaying and selling locally produced agricultural products under the KADIWA ng Pangulo for five (5) days from September 14-18, 2026 at Santa Cruz Plaza, Barangay Maharlika, Santa Cruz, Marinduque while the remaining ten (10) days will be devoted in to social community projects in their respective barangays. Each beneficiary will receive Php 6,825.00 for the fifteen-day work period, amounting to Php 88,725.00 in total wages.

The activity provided an opportunity for local farmers and producers to directly market their products to consumers while giving the beneficiaries temporary employment and additional income. As of September 18, the participating sellers recorded Php 36,062.00 in sales.

Bringing employment, livelihood, skills development, and essential government services closer to the people, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Provincial Government of Marinduque through Livelihood Manpower Development-Public Employment Service Office (LMD-PESO), and the Municipal Government of Santa Cruz, together with national government agencies (NGAs), successfully conducted the Handog ng Pangulo 2026: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat Job and Serbisyo Fair on September 14 at the Santa Cruz Evacuation Center, Brgy. Lapu-Lapu, Santa Cruz, Marinduque.

The one-day activity generated 106 registered applicants, of whom 83 were qualified for employment opportunities. It also resulted in 19 hired-on-the-spot (HOTS) and 59 near-hired applicants, reflecting the fair’s role in connecting Marinduqueño jobseekers directly with potential employers.

Beyond employment, the event provided one-stop-shop government services to 116 clients, alongside livelihood assistance, skills development, labor education, orientations, and other services offered by participating agencies.

The initiative underscored the government’s commitment to making opportunities and public services more accessible, particularly to jobseekers, workers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other members of the community.

More than simply a job fair, the Handog ng Pangulo 2026 demonstrated the value of converging government services in one accessible venue reducing barriers for constituents while creating pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, skills enhancement, and improved economic opportunities.
