👩‍👧‍👦 Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP) Session for Adolescent Mothers

June 23, 2025 | Day 1: Distribution & Implementation

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) successfully kicked off the 1st day of the RPFP session for adolescent mothers, in line with our commitment to promote adolescent reproductive health and reduce the alarming rate of teenage pregnancy in Marinduque.

This was followed by a courtesy visit to the Buenavista Teen Center, a vital space for young mothers and teens to access support, education, and empowerment.

April 8, 2025 | 1st Joint Quarterly Council Meeting

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Marinduque facilitated a joint regular meeting of the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC), Provincial Council on the Elderly (PCE), Provincial Council on Disability Affairs (PCDA), and Provincial Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking—Violence Against Women and their Children (PIACAT-VAWC) on April 8, 2025, at the LMD-Peso Conference Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, Boac, Marinduque.

Highlights included the 2025 1st Quarter Accomplishment Report presentation and the 2026 Plan of Action for Children, Senior Citizens, and PWDs. The meeting served as a platform for collaboration, progress assessment, and strategic planning for the welfare and protection of vulnerable sectors in the province.

Together, we continue to build a safer, more inclusive Marinduque!

March 31, 2025 | Flag Raising Ceremony sa pangunguna ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO)

Bilang host department, iniulat ng PSWDO ang naging kaganapan at mga pangunahing accomplishment ng kanilang tanggapan noong 2024. Patuloy ang kanilang pagbibigay ng serbisyong may malasakit at dedikasyon sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang programa tulad ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), incentive to centenarians, homecare support program para sa senior citizens (milestone age), capability building at advocacy para sa PWDs at LGBTQIA l+, at intervention programs para sa kabataan at vulnerable sectors.

Layunin ng tanggapan na maghatid ng agarang tulong at suporta sa mga nangangailangan para sa isang mas maunlad at mas inklusibong lipunan.

March 4, 2025 | The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) successfully held its first consultation dialogue with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Marinduque, led by SWADT Team Leader Ms. Helen Alcoba, , and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices (MSWDOs) from six (6) municipalities. Provincial Administrator Sonny Paglinawan also participated in the session.

This collaboration aims to streamline and enhance the delivery of essential social welfare programs, ensuring that our community receives the services it needs more efficiently.
