In celebration of World Water Day and Earth Hour 2026, the Local Government Unit of Boac, through the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, successfully conducted a Mangrove Planting Activity in Barangay Cawit.

This meaningful initiative is part of the municipality’s ongoing Mangrove Sustainable Program, reinforcing our shared commitment to protecting coastal ecosystems, strengthening climate resilience, and securing the future of our marine resources.

Mangroves are more than just trees—they are natural shields against coastal erosion, nurseries for marine life, and vital contributors to a balanced and thriving environment. Through collective action, we take one step closer to a greener, safer, and more sustainable Boac.
