It has been 95 years since our valiant heroes were first honored and formally recognized. They displayed true 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 and 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮, from 𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 to 𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 , ready to give everything in the name of freedom. Today, let us rekindle their bravery and the spirit that drove them to fight for our tomorrow.

Let us come together, Scouts and youth of Marinduque, to honor, cherish, and celebrate the legacy of our heroes. Let us prove they did not fight in vain when they defended our freedom and future. Rooted in youth and fueled by liberty. We are the new heroes for generations to come. Let us 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 , and 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞, not only 𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔, but the 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 .

As our national hero G*t. Jose Rizal said, “𝙰𝚗𝚐 𝚔𝚊𝚋𝚊𝚝𝚊𝚊𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚊𝚐-𝚊𝚜𝚊 𝚗𝚐 𝚋𝚊𝚢𝚊𝚗.” Let us stand firm by these words and make them the foundation of the next generation.

On June 6, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Marinduque Council, in partnership with the Interact Club of Marinduque National High School, successfully conducted the “𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤-𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞,” an initiative led by the Council Scout Representatives that brought assistance and joy to 50 elementary students of Tiguion Elementary School in Central Dos, Tiguion, Gasan, Marinduque.

The initiative aimed to help students prepare for the upcoming school year by providing them with essential school supplies and other educational needs. More than the things we shared, the activity was a reminder that even simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in a child’s journey.

Through joined hands, shared laughter, and generous hearts, we witnessed how the spirit of service can bring hope and happiness to others. Every donation, every effort, and every smile became a small but meaningful contribution toward making the return to school a little brighter for our young learners.

On June 2, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Marinduque Council successfully conducted “𝐌.𝐈.𝐍.𝐃. – 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤” an online seminar led by the Council Scout Representatives to help mentally prepare Marindukanon Scouts as they return to school.

The Mental Health Talk was facilitated by our guest speaker, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐑. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐬, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, from the Marinduque State University-Guidance and Counseling Office. Her warm, engaging, and meaningful approach encouraged the Scouts to freely participate, share their thoughts, and connect with one another in a safe and supportive space.

Through this initiative, the Marinduque Council hopes to remind every Scout that taking care of one’s mental well-being is just as important as preparing for academic challenges. As we welcome another school year, may our Scouts carry with them not only the courage to face challenges, but also the willingness to listen, understand, and support one another.

Aligned with the CSR RESOLUTION NO. 004, S. 2026 "Fund Generation, Branding, and Promotion of Marindukanon Scout Identity through the Marinduque Contingent (MariCon) Neckerchief Initiative"

The 2nd Batch of MariCon has successfully distributed by the Council Scout Representatives across the different towns of Marinduque.

The MariCon is not just a neckerchief, it is a promise wrapped in the colors of our nation.

𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍-𝐔𝐏 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On May 2, 2026, the Scouts of Marinduque, led by the 2026–2027 Council Scout Representatives, conducted a Clean-Up Drive at the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Marinduque Council Headquarters in Malusak, Boac.

In preparation for the upcoming Back-to-School season, the Scouts came together to clean, organize, and freshen up the Council premises, helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for everyone.

Through this simple act of service, the Scouts once again showed that small acts of responsibility can make a meaningful difference in our community.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 1𝐒𝐓 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

On April 15, 2025, CSR 1 Jazmin Marciano, Former CSR 1 Cyrus Perez, and Former CSR 2 Angelique Mandia attended the First Quarterly Meeting of the Provincial Youth Development Council held at the Governor’s Hall, Marinduque Capitol Building, Boac.

The meeting focused on the Provincial Youth Development Plan and the presentation of various Projects, Programs, and Activities (PPAs) aligned with the Ten Centers of Youth Development Participation for the term.

Through this platform, youth of Marinduque are given the opportunity to voice their ideas, suggestions, and perspectives on matters that directly affect the youth. By actively participating and contributing to meaningful discussions, we help shape initiatives that respond to the needs of today’s generation and pave the way for a better future for the youth of Marinduque.

Today, 43 years ago, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. was assassinated at the Manila International Airport, now named the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, upon arriving from self-imposed exile in the United States.

May Ninoy Aquino’s legacy continue to inspire generations of Filipinos to hold on to hope, stand for what is right, and continue striving for a better and brighter future for our nation.

On July 31-August 1, 2026, the Battle of Paye Council-wide Advancement Camp started the activities at Sawi-Balimbing Elementary School, Barangay Balimbing, Boac, Marinduque. This day was field with series of activities designed to strengthen Scouting skills, foster camaraderie among participants, and uphold the values of service, discipline, and preparedness embodied in the Scouting movement.

This encampment was field with series of activities designed to strengthen Scouting skills, foster camaraderie among participants, and uphold the values of service, discipline, and preparedness embodied in the Scouting movement.
