DILG Bobon, headed by MLGOO Jorge B. Durom, provided updates on the schedule for the consultation and formulation of Barangay Development Plans (BDPs) to ensure the timely conduct of planning activities across the municipality.

Meanwhile, as part of the 2026 BADAC activities, PSSg Rony G. Nogales facilitated the issuance of Certifications and Letters for Retention of Drug-Cleared Status to qualified barangays, reaffirming the commitment of local stakeholders to sustain drug-cleared communities and strengthen anti-illegal drug initiatives.

𝗠𝗠𝗖𝗖 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗢𝗖 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀

The Municipal Management Coordinating Committee convened at the DILG Bobon Municipal Office to discuss key governance matters, focusing on the Peace and Order Council (POC) performance audit results and the indicators requiring immediate attention for the 2026 assessment period.

The meeting emphasized areas for improvement and reinforced the commitment of local stakeholders to strengthen compliance with performance standards and enhance overall governance efficiency for the coming year.

TANONG NG BAYAN | Sakop ba ng Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law) ang mga paaralan?

Oo, dahil sakop ng public spaces ang mga paaralan!

Layunin ng batas na protektahan ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani laban sa Gender-Based Sexual Harassment (GBSH) sa loob ng paaralan. May mahalagang tungkulin din ang mga punong-g**o at administrador ng paaralan na:

✅ Magtatag ng Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI);
✅ Magpatupad ng kaukulang disiplina laban sa mga sangkot sa GBSH;
✅ Tiyaking agad na naaaksyunan ang mga ulat at reklamo;
✅ Magbigay ng sapat na kaalaman sa mga mag-aaral tungkol sa Safe Spaces Act at mga paraan ng pagre-report.

Maaari ring tumawag sa Unified 911 Hotline para ipaalam ang mga ganitong klaseng insidente, kabilang na ang mga usaping may kinalaman sa mental health.

Walang lugar ang pambabastos, pananakot, at pang-aabuso sa loob ng paaralan. Dahil ang ligtas na komunidad ay nagsisimula sa mga kabataang may kamalayan, pananagutan, at paggalang sa isa't isa.

𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐧, 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞

Born from a vision of empowerment and community pride, the Bobon Pasalubong Center has become more than a marketplace, it is a home of heritage, opportunity, and local identity. Through committed leadership of the Municipal Mayor Hon. Reny A. Celespara and its collective effort, the Center continues to uplift local producers, preserve tradition, and strengthen livelihoods.

From September 2025 to March 2026, the Center generated ₱1.39 million in gross sales, reflecting the growing support for locally made products and the resilience of Bobon’s entrepreneurs.

Today, every product on its shelves tells a story. Where local pride inspires progress and Bobon’s stories continue to shine.

𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗔𝗪𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗻

On May 27, 2026, the Municipal Health Office–Rural Health Unit of Bobon officially launched the General Intervention Health and Wellbeing Awareness (GINHAWA) Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program at the Salvacion Evacuation Center.

During the activity, Jorge B. Durom, MLGOO of DILG Bobon, delivered a message highlighting the importance of community support in rehabilitation and recovery. Participants also attended sessions on health awareness, stress management, and personal development, followed by an orientation and commitment signing.

The initiative reflects the Municipality of Bobon's continued commitment to promoting health, wellbeing, and positive community transformation.

The DILG Bobon, headed by MLGOO Jorge B. Durom, together with the members of the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the LPMC alongside the attendance to the online training on the LPMC Functionality Online Portal and SUBAYBAYANI Assessment Guidelines.

The activity aimed to strengthen project monitoring mechanisms, enhance compliance, and ensure the effective implementation of local government programs and projects through improved monitoring and evaluation systems.
