𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗕𝗢𝗕𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bobon Municipal Office, headed by Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Jorge B. Durom, presented the new Husay Barangay innovation during the Special Meeting of the Barangay Secretaries of the Municipality of Bobon.
The presentation introduced the Barangay Secretaries to the concept, objectives, and key components of Husay Barangay, highlighting its role in strengthening barangay governance, improving administrative practices, and promoting more efficient and responsive delivery of services.
DILG Staff Darwin C. Castillo also presented the status of submissions reflected in the 3rd Quarter e-MADAGMIT Report tracker, providing the Barangay Secretaries with an overview of their respective submission status and reminding them of the importance of timely and complete compliance with required documents and reports.
The activity likewise served as a venue for discussion and clarification, allowing the Barangay Secretaries to raise concerns, clarify requirements, and gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities in relation to the implementation of the innovation.
Through Husay Barangay and its continuing technical assistance initiatives, DILG Bobon remains committed to strengthening the capacity of barangay officials and personnel toward more responsive, effective, and accountable local governance.
