On May 7, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Bobon successfully conducted an Outreach Program and Serbisyo Caravan in Barangay E. Duran, Bobon, Northern Samar, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Alfredo Centino.
Spearheaded by the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Reny A. Celespara, the initiative reflected the Municipalityโs continuing commitment to bring essential government services closer to the people and ensure that every barangay receives genuine care and support.
The activity became a meaningful symbol of unity and collaboration as government agencies, uniformed personnel, healthcare workers, volunteers, and barangay officials came together with one shared missionโto serve the community.
Hon. Alma F. Rosana, Sangguniang Bayan Member, was also present during the activity, showing support for programs that strengthen the connection between the government and the people.
The Serbisyo Caravan was made possible through the partnership of the Philippine Army, led by COL Erickson Rosana, Deputy Brigade Commander of the 803rd Infantry Brigade, 8ID, Philippine Army, together with partner agencies and stakeholders including the Provincial Agriculture Office, Land Transportation Office (LTO), Department of Health (DOH), Rural Health Unit (RHU) headed by Dr. Henry Novales, One Waraynon Creators, and other dedicated partners in public service.
Various essential services were delivered to the residents of Barangay E. Duran, including medical consultations, dental services, PhilHealth and Yakap registration, and minor surgical procedures (Tuli/Turi), providing assistance, relief, and reassurance to many families in the community.
Personnel from the Bobon Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the leadership of PCPT Manuel B. Tadeo Jr., Acting Chief of Police, also supported the activity, strengthening the spirit of cooperation, safety, and community engagement throughout the program.
More than a simple outreach activity, the Serbisyo Caravan became a reminder that true public service goes beyond offices and institutionsโit reaches communities, listens to the people, and remains where help is needed most.
