In Barangay Balat Balud, a meaningful tree planting activity was led by the Sangguniang Kabataan under SK Chairperson Lyka S. Pelonia, bringing together graduating students from elementary to college. Each participant planted a Talisay tree, symbolizing growth, strength, and responsibility.

More than just an environmental effort, the activity became a simple rite of passageโ€”marking the studentsโ€™ transition while leaving a lasting legacy in their community. It highlighted the important role of the youth in caring for the environment and shaping a greener future.

The success of the activity was also made possible with the support and participation of Barangay Kagawad Hon. Beverly Baldestoy and Hon. Edwin Lopez.
