โ€œNavigating Our Future, Together as ASEANโ€

The Eduardo T. Oporto Memorial National High School (ETOMNHS) proudly joins the celebration of the 56th ASEAN Commemoration Month 2026, highlighting the spirit of unity, diversity, cooperation, and shared aspirations among the nations of Southeast Asia.

As part of the celebration, our learners and teachers took part in a Parade of ASEAN Attires, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and traditional clothing of the different ASEAN member states. The activity provided a meaningful opportunity for everyone to appreciate the diverse identities and traditions that make up the ASEAN community.

Adding color and meaning to the celebration was the ASEAN Exhibit Display, featuring cultural representations, information, and creative presentations that promote awareness and appreciation of the history, heritage, and contributions of ASEAN countries.

Through these activities, ETOMNHS continues to foster a deeper understanding of ASEAN identity and solidarity, reminding us that despite our differences in culture, language, and traditions, we can move forward together toward a more peaceful, inclusive, and progressive future.

โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyonโ€

Matagumpay na ipinagdiwang ng Eduardo T. Oporto Memorial National High School (ETOMNHS) ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026, na naglalayong higit na mapahalagahan ang wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at paghahatid ng kaalaman.

Sa pamamagitan ng ibaโ€™t ibang gawaing pampaaralan, naipamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, kaalaman, at pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura. Naging makabuluhan din ang pagtalakay sa papel ng teknolohiya at Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang makabagong kasangkapan sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay nagsilbing paalala na sa kabila ng mabilis na pagbabago ng teknolohiya, nananatiling mahalaga ang Wikang Filipino bilang tulay sa kaalaman, kultura, at pagkakaisa.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng g**o, mag-aaral, magulang, at stakeholders na nakiisa at naging bahagi ng matagumpay na pagdiriwang na ito.

Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, nananatiling mahalaga ang ating wikang Filipino bilang tulay sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman. Habang umuunlad ang Artificial Intelligence (AI), higit na nagiging makabuluhan ang paggamit ng ating sariling wika upang matiyak na ang yaman ng impormasyon ay maaabot at mapakikinabangan ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, buong pagmamalaking nakikiisa ang Eduardo T. Oporto Memorial National High School sa pagtataguyod ng ating pambansang wika sa ilalim ng temang:

โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.โ€

Nawaโ€™y magsilbing paalala ang pagdiriwang na ito na ang teknolohiya at ang wikang Filipino ay hindi magkalaban, kundi magkaagapay sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral na mapanuri, makabago, at may pagmamalaki sa sariling identidad. Gamitin natin ang AI nang may pananagutan at ang wikang Filipino nang may dangal, sapagkat sa pagsasanib ng dalawa ay nabubuksan ang mas malawak na daan tungo sa kaalaman, inobasyon, at pag-unlad.
