Capitol Launches Ceres Partnered " Libreng Sakay" for Holy Week Travelers

The Cebu Provincial Government rolled out its “Libreng Sakay” program on Tuesday, March 31. This initiative is Ceres partnered to assist passengers bound for northern and southern Cebu. Furthermore, the program addresses the massive travel surge expected during the Holy Week season.

Consequently, the project helps decongest major transport terminals. It also eases travel costs for vulnerable sectors during this peak period.

CERES BUS HEEDS PRESIDENT'S CALL FOR BAYANIHAN

The spirit of Bayanihan defines the Filipino people. Currently, uncertainties in the Middle East cause significant volatility in oil prices. Consequently, this unique trait is being called upon to help the nation.

The Yanson Group of Bus Companies is the operator of Ceres Bus. Notably, the group is heeding President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s call for Bayanihan this Holy Week. Therefore, the company will offer a 10% fare discount to all passengers. This discount applies on Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday.

To ensure safety, order and compliance with transport regulations, personnel from LTO and PNP are deployed to provide assistance and maintain proper monitoring of terminal operations.
