In line with the Bureau's continuing efforts to maintain a safe, secure, and drug-free jail environment, Ubay District Jail, headed by 𝘑𝘊𝘐𝘕𝘚𝘗 𝘉𝘖𝘕𝘐𝘍𝘈𝘊𝘐𝘖 𝘊 𝘗𝘓𝘈𝘡𝘈 𝘑𝘙, Acting Warden, successfully conducted a Joint Greyhound Operation on May 26, 2026, in coordination with personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Bohol Provincial Office.

The operation involved a thorough inspection of the jail facility and strict implementation of security procedures to ensure that no contraband or prohibited items were present within the Area of Responsibility. The activity concluded successfully with negative findings for contraband, reflecting the facility's commitment to upholding security, discipline, and order.

This collaborative effort highlights the strong partnership between BJMP and PDEA in promoting a secure, drug-free, and well-managed correctional environment.

Personnel of Ubay District Jail actively participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Municipal Ground of Ubay, Bohol, as a symbol of unity, discipline, and dedication to public service. Through this gathering, personnel are reminded of their commitment to uphold integrity, professionalism, and excellence in serving the community and nation.

𝗨𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗹 intensifies its campaign in support of the 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 (𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗔𝗖) Program through information dissemination and awareness activities inside the jail facility.

This initiative aims to promote peace, unity, and public awareness on the government’s programs toward ending insurgency and encouraging reconciliation, development, and sustainable peace in the community.

Ubay District Jail remains one with the nation in supporting the whole-of-nation approach in achieving a safer, peaceful, and progressive society for all. 🇵🇭

Jail Chief Inspector 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐂 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐙𝐀 𝐉𝐑., District Jail Warden together with JO1 Miguel M Mendez, WD JNOR paid a courtesy visit to the 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝒃𝒂𝒚, 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒂 𝑫. 𝑹𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔, today, May 20, 2026. The meeting served as an opportunity to establish stronger coordination and cooperation between the Local Government Unit and the jail facility in promoting peace and order, public safety, and community development.

This meaningful engagement reflects the commitment of both offices in working together towards effective public service and the continuous improvement of jail management programs and initiatives.
