🐾 REMINDER TO OUR PET & LIVESTOCK OWNERS 🐾

Good day Barangay Poblacion 👋 We’ve noticed some astray animals roaming around our streets and the national road lately. While we all love our furry and four-legged friends 🐕🐈🐄🐐, we also need to make sure they’re safe and not causing accidents or inconvenience to others.

Under Barangay Ordinance No. 6-2025 (Barangay Astray Animals Control Ordinance), owners are reminded that dogs, cats, goats, cows, and other domesticated animals should not be allowed to roam freely in public places such as streets, parks, markets, schools, or properties not owned by the animal owner. 🚫

⚠️📌 Starting this month, we will be implementing strict monitoring and enforcement of the ordinance to ensure everyone’s safety. Please help us by securing your pets and livestock at all times.

👉 Keeping your pets and animals secured helps protect them and keeps our community safe, clean, and orderly.

In compliance with Barangay Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2025, the Barangay Council of Poblacion informs the public that astray animals have been observed roaming within the premises of BOKOD MUNICIPAL HALL AND POBLACION BARANGAY HALL.

To ensure safety, cleanliness, and orderliness, all pet owners are reminded to take full responsibility for their animals and prevent them from wandering in public spaces.

⚠️ Please be advised that astray animals found within government premises will be subject to the measures provided under the said ordinance.

Let us work together in keeping our community safe and orderly by being responsible pet owners.

📢❗ OFFICIAL NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Poblacion hereby informs all residents that Barangay Ordinance No. 6, Series of 2025 has been duly approved and adopted entitled:“AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING GUIDELINES FOR THE CONTROL, MANAGEMENT, AND PROPER HANDLING OF ASTRAY ANIMALS IN BARANGAY POBLACION, AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”

NOTE
📝 Section 3. Scope and Coverage
This Ordinance shall apply to all domesticated animals found roaming in public places or on private property without owner's supervision
🗒️ Section 4. Prohibition
Owners are prohibited from allowing their animals to roam freely in public places such as streets,parks,markets,schools,or any property not owned by the animal owner.

This ordinance aims to promote public safety, animal welfare, and responsible ownership, by setting clear guidelines and consequences related to the presence of astray animals within the community.

🔒 Key Provisions Include:
✅ Proper impoundment of astray animals
✅ Responsibilities of animal owners
✅ Guidelines for reclaiming impounded animals

💰 Fees and Penalties:
Violation Penalties:
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: ₱500
3rd and Succeeding Offenses: ₱1,000.00 or Community Service
Impounding Fee: ₱300.00 per day

📣 All pet and livestock owners are strongly encouraged to secure and care for their animals to avoid penalties and contribute to the safety and cleanliness of our Barangay.
