In celebration of May Measurement Month, the Boljoon Municipal Health Office, in coordination with the Municipal Mayor of Boljoon, Mayor Joie Genesse N. Derama, conducted a Blood Pressure Taking activity aimed at individuals who seldom monitor their blood pressure.
The target participants of the activity were employees from the different departments of the Local Government Unit as well as personnel from various establishments within Poblacion, recognizing the importance of reaching individuals who may often overlook routine health monitoring due to work and daily responsibilities.
In addition, the dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) also conducted house-to-house blood pressure taking within the community to further expand the reach of the campaign and ensure that more residents were given the opportunity to know and check their blood pressure status.
Through this initiative, the Municipal Health Office continues to promote awareness on the value of preventive healthcare and encourages the public to make regular blood pressure monitoring part of their health routine.
By strengthening awareness and encouraging early detection, we move closer toward preventing complications and improving the well-being of every Boljoanon.
