From learning to action! 💪

After completing the SK Mandatory Training, the Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC) members gathered at the SB Session Hall for their 1st MYDC Meeting to initiate the formulation and approval of the Municipal Youth Development Plan CY 2026–2028.

The session served as a collaborative space for youth leaders to identify priorities, align initiatives, and ensure that programs are responsive to the needs of the youth. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening youth governance and participatory development.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Bombon (Sangguniang Kabataan ng Bombon) together with the Municipal Youth Development Office (LYDO Bombon) successfully conducted the SK Mandatory Training (SKMT) of appointed SK Officials and MYDC members at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall on April 09, 2026.

Filled with learning, collaboration, and shared purpose, the activity empowered participants to take on their roles with passion, leadership, and a renewed commitment to serve the Bomboeño youth.

IN PHOTOS | District 3 Coordinative Meeting with SKFPs, LYDOs, and LYDC Members

The NYC Naga Area Office held a coordinative meeting with the SK Federation Presidents (SKFPs), Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs), and Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) members of District 3, Camarines Sur last August 20, 2025. The activity took place at the Conference Room of the Municipal Hall of Calabanga in San Pablo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

During the meeting, participants discussed updates on SK provisions, validated reports on the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) and LYDC, and encouraged the submission of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Reports. They also tackled access to the SK Portal and shared the challenges they face in carrying out their responsibilities.

This gathering served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination, provide support, and enhance the assistance given to our youth leaders. It was a meaningful step towards empowering SKPPs, LYDOs, and LYDCs in fulfilling their role in youth development.

🌟 Strengthening Youth Leadership: 3rd Quarter SK Regional Taskforce Meeting 🌟

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan, the 3rd Quarter Sangguniang Kabataan Regional Taskforce Meeting was held on August 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Jesse M. Robredo Museum Café, Taal Avenue, Naga City. Spearheaded by the NYC Naga Area Office and hosted by the City Government of Naga, the gathering brought together youth leaders, advocates, and partners from across the region to strengthen youth governance and development efforts.

During the program, PYDO Camarines Sur and the Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation were honored for their valuable contribution and active participation as members of the SK Regional Taskforce. The Local Youth Development Offices of Nabua, Baao, and Bombon were likewise recognized for their 100% compliance in the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) report and their outstanding commitment to advancing youth development in their localities. We are honored to have Asec. Gervy James N. Gumarit, NYC Commissioner Representing Luzon, grace the meeting and personally present the awards together with Ms. Nydia P. Delfin, Area Officer – NYC Naga Area Office.

The meeting was actively participated in by SK Provincial Federation Presidents, Provincial Youth Development Officers, Local Youth Development Council Representatives, and LGU awardees. Discussions included feedback from the 2nd Quarter NYC Wrap-up Session, updates on SK-related policies, training progress, SK Web Portal monitoring, and local compliance status.

This regional gathering reflects the united commitment of youth leaders and stakeholders to the Sustainable Development Goals and the continued advancement of youth leadership. It stands as a celebration of the dedication, service, and collaboration that drive positive change in our communities proving that today’s youth are already shaping a better tomorrow. 💪✨

Last August 13, 2025, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Bombon, represented by its LYD Officer- Designate, Marian A. Olaguer, was recognized for achieving 100% compliance in the Monitoring & Evaluation Report during the 3rd Quarter Sangguniang Kabataan Regional Taskforce Meeting held at the Jesse M. Robredo Museum Café, Naga City. 🏅

The awarding was graced by Asec. Gervy James N. Gumarit, NYC Commissioner Representing Luzon, who personally presented the award together with Ms. Nydia P. Delfin, Area Officer, NYC Naga Area Office.

This new JMC provides guidelines for the implementation of the exemption of all incumbent SK officials in good standing from taking any service components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the provision to be excused from attending regular classes to attend SK Meetings and Sangguniang Barangay Sessions.

This new JMC provides guidelines for the implementation of the exemption of all incumbent SK officials in good standing from taking any service components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the provision to be excused from attending regular classes to attend SK Meetings and Sangguniang Barangay Sessions.
