RE: Notice of Recognition for the MRRD-People’s National Movement
for Federalism (PNAMFED)

This is in reference to the last executive meeting of the MRRD-NECC held last October 8, 2016 in Taguig.

Cognizant of the magnitude of the work that the Federalism campaign entails, and the critical role that the MRRD-PNAMFED plays in espousing, advancing and mobilizing grassroots support for the President’s agenda on Federalism throughout the country, and consistent with the stipulation set forth in the DILG-MRRD PNAMFED “Memorandum of Agreement”, the MRRD-NECC Executive Board deemed it necessary to revisit existing engagements on Federalism to include the review of all appointments made for this purpose. In view of the intensive roll-out of Federalism campaigns in the country and with DILG-MRRD PNAMFED taking the lead in these efforts, it was decided that a uniform, calibrated and coordinated action is needed in order to attain a more seamless conduct of the same as recommended and approved by the body. It should be noted that all appointments previously made by the MRRD-PNAMFED were “interim” in character and therefore subject to change upon notice. In view of these development, all positions under the MRRD-PNAMFED have been declared “VACANT” by the Executive Board until duly constituted.

Pursuant to this decision of the Executive Board notice is hereby given to all officers of the MRRD-NECC National Officers, PNAMFED National Officers, MRRD Regional Chairpersons, plus one Regional officer on the PNAMFED Reorganization scheduled on October 16, 2016 at 10AM in Taguig. A text advisory on the exact location shall follow soon.

MRRD NECC NATIONAL MOVEMENT FOR FEDERALISM LAUNCHED - May 25, 2016. The movement will be the prime mover to support the advocacy of Mayor Duterte in order to convert to the Federalism system of Government. Plans have likewise been made to send their members abroad so as to learn and be educated as to the different models of Federalism that is suitable for the Philippine scenario. Thereafter, a massive information drive shall be conducted in order to educate the masses about the efficacy of the Federal system of Government.
MRRD-NECC is a parallel organization of the political party of the presumptive president that helped ensure the victory of Digong in the 2016 elections.
