These apps can be found in the Play Store or App Store (except for Koodo which can be downloaded from the website). Kindly note that these may have paid versions for premium features but otherwise they are pretty usable. I personally use ReadEra when on Android.

We are pleased to welcome our new Library Staff, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐆. 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐨, who is assigned to the 𝑬-𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚!

He will be managing our computer units and, soon, our incoming tablets, ensuring that these resources are properly maintained and efficiently utilized by our users.
He will also assist in providing access to our online resources, supporting students and faculty in their digital learning and research needs.

With his role, we look forward to strengthening our E-Library services and making technology-driven learning more accessible and efficient for everyone.

Please be reminded that the signing of clearances will be until 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

For students who have not yet claimed their Library ID and Borrower’s Card, please bring your claim stub and proceed to the third floor of the Library and look for Ms. Untalan for assistance.

Need resources on the Filipino language? Check out the library website and catalog of the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino.

Aklatang Balmaseda is a special library that responds to the mandate of the KWF for the enrichment and preservation of Filipino and other languages of the Philippines. It is named after the former director of the Institute of National Language (INL), now the KWF, from 1938 to 1947, Julian Cruz Balmaseda, in recognition of his contributions and achievements in the field.

It has over 5,000 printed collections, including the Balmaseda Collection, Villanueva Collection, the Aklatang Bayan, References, and others. More than 700 e-books can also be accessed online. Please follow the instructions on the website on how to access.

It is located at 2/F Watson Building, 1610 JP Laurel St, Brgy. 640, Malacañang Complex, San Miguel, 1005 Manila. Visits and research can be conducted from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

As part of their service, they will assist in organizing library materials, searching and locating books, and supporting daily library operations.

An orientation on their duties, along with a guided library tour, was conducted by the library personnel to help them get started.
