Gaining valuable knowledge and practical strategies on how technology can be meaningfully integrated into classroom instruction to make learning more engaging, relevant, and effective for our learners.

Youth Leadership and Development Training-workshop for Active Leaders

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) Officers of Bontoc Ili Primary School participated in the Youth Leadership and Development Training-workshop with the theme: "Tomorrow’s Champions: Healthy, Green and Ready to Lead” facilitated by Mrs. Khewhaney Clair Gasmena- Khayad and Ms. Charielyn A. Wangwang in partnership with the Municipal Population and Development Office and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office.

This Leadership Training is designed to develop responsible, confident, and effective young leaders who can actively contribute to the achievement of the school’s goals and programs.

Ma'am Elizabeth C. Faba-an- Population Program Officer, gave an overview of the training followed by the first speaker Ma'am Darleen D. Awingan with the title “My Body, My Growth, My Journey”.

The next speaker was Ma'am Elsie A. Angdengan on Turning Waste into Sustainable Solution. She discussed that instead of sending trash to landfills, waste can be transformed into energy, new products, or eco-friendly materials.

The next topic about Life Skill: Leadership and Resilience was presented by Ma'am Renalyn B. Codod, Project Development Officer. She discussed the roles and responsibilities of a leader. She also talked over the Childs Rights and Protection that every child is safeguarded, respected, and given opportunities to grow in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.

The participants enjoyed the activity and it ended with a meaningful message of Sir Vicente N. Tafaleng.

Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika:
Kultura, Wika, at AI

Ipinagdiriwang ng Bontoc Ili Primary School ang Buwan ng Wika kaning umaga. Ito ay isang makabuluhang selebrasyon na nagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng ating pambansang wika bilang salamin ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa. Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon”, binibigyang-pansin ang papel ng makabagong teknolohiya, partikular na ang artipisyal na intelihensiya (AI), sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman at paggamit ng wikang Filipino.

Binuksan ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng dating punong g**o na si Ginoong Vicente Tafaleng, nagbigay siya ng maligayang pagbati sa lahat ng dumalo kabilang dito ang mga Barangay Local Government Unit, Parents Teachers Association at komunidad.

Maraming kaaya-ayang presentasyon din na ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral sa mga manonood gaya ng sayaw at mga awiting bayan. Para maipamalas ang kanilang pagkamalikhain, gumawa din sila ng mga slogan at poster tungkol sa Buwan ng Wika.

Isang kawili-wiling kuwento tungkol sa "Ug-ukhod nan Otot" ang ibinahagi ni Ginoong George Fakat bilang Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative ng Bontoc Ili. Nagbigay din ng mensahe c Ginoong Simeon Angagka tungkol sa ating kultura na "Og-ogfo". Ito ay isang kaugalian na ginagawa ng mga Igorot.

Bilang pagkilala din sa bagong punong g**o ng Bontoc Ili Primary School, nagbigay ng maganda at makabuluhang mensahe si Ginang Hazel Noel M. Balokey. Nagtapos ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng mapang-antig na mensahe ni Ginoong Elner Madjaco, Public Schools District Supervisor ng Bontoc District ayon sa pagpapahalaga sa programa na isinagawa ng mga g**o at mag-aaral.

Isang masaya at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 ang matagumpay na isinagawa ng Bontoc Ili Primary School, kasama ang ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at mga stakeholders na buong-pusong nakiisa at sumuporta. ❤️

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang gawain, naipamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamahal sa Wikang Filipino, habang kinikilala ang mahalagang papel ng AI sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto. 📚💡

Bontoc Ili Primary School successfully conducted a Shooting Attack Drill as part of its continuing commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of learners, teachers, and staff.

The activity aimed to strengthen everyone’s awareness and response during an emergency situation, emphasizing the importance of staying calm, following safety protocols, and responding appropriately to ensure the protection of the school community.

Through this drill, the school continues to promote a culture of preparedness, vigilance, and safety. We extend our appreciation to all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

The learners and alumni of Bontoc Ili Primary School participated during the parade in the Bontoc Municipal Athletic Meet 2026.

They joined by showcasing the beating of the gongs adding a powerful rhythm that blends tradition with athletic celebration, reminding everyone that sports are not only about competition but also about community, unity and heritage.

Playing gongs during the parade highlights indigenous identity, showing that culture and sports walk hand in hand. The deep resonance of gongs fills the air with excitement, energizing both participants and spectators.

The rhythm of the gongs embodies teamwork, pride, and heritage, reminding everyone that the spirit of competition is deeply connected to the values of unity and tradition.

Bontoc Ili proudly celebrates Nutrition Month with the theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."

The celebration brings together the BLGU, parents, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), the Municipal Nutritionist, and our guest speaker, Ma'am CEASAN Jane L. Agcapen, Human Resource Health Nurse, in support of promoting proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and environmental awareness.

The event features a variety of meaningful and engaging activities, including:
