In line with the continuing commitment of the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office to strengthen public service and maintain peace and order, Paracelis Municipal Police Station (MPS) formally conducted its Turnover of Office Ceremony on August 3, 2026, at the Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Paracelis, with PMAJ JAMES PANGOG officially assuming the position of Officer-in-Charge (OIC).
The ceremony was presided over by PCOL MARCELO B POLIG, Provincial Director, who expressed his gratitude to the local government unit and stakeholders for their steadfast support of the Philippine National Police. He also encouraged PMAJ PANGOG to uphold the highest standards of leadership and continue strengthening the trust and confidence of the community.
Serving as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon. Marcos G. Ayangwa, Municipal Mayor of Paracelis, conveyed his appreciation to the outgoing Acting Chief of Police, PCPT JUN NGAWIT, for his dedicated service and valuable contributions to the municipality. He likewise assured the incoming OIC of the local government's full support as he assumes the responsibility of leading the station.
Mayor Ayangwa further emphasized that public trust is built through consistent and dedicated service, stressing the importance of unity and cooperation in fostering a peaceful, safe, and progressive community.
Also present during the ceremony were PLTCOL ROY T AWISAN, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations, personnel of Paracelis MPS and the 2nd Mountain Province Provincial Mobile Force Company, as well as employees of Paracelis Local Government Unit.
With its new leadership, Paracelis MPS continues to strengthen its commitment to responsive policing and quality public service.
