NAGKAKAISANG PAGHAHANAP, NAGKAKISANG PAG-ASA

TINGNAN || Sa pagpapakita ng tunay na diwa ng malasakit at paglilingkod sa bayan, aktibong nakilahok ang mga tauhan ng Mountain Province District Jail sa isinagawang search and rescue operation sa Sagada para sa paghahanap kay Sophia Magalgalit Oria, isang dalagitang naiulat na nawawala mula noong Agosto 9,2026.

Katuwang ang iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, mga unipormadong kawani, at mga boluntaryong responder, tumulong ang MPDJ sa malawakang paghahanap upang mapabilis ang pagtugon at pagbibigay ng pag-asa sa pamilya ng nawawala. Ang gawaing ito ay patunay ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng BJMP hindi lamang sa pangangalaga ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty kundi pati na rin sa pagtulong sa komunidad sa panahon ng pangangailangan.

“Sa oras ng pangangailangan, sama-samang kumikilos ang bawat isa upang magbigay ng pag-asa at makatulong sa pagliligtas ng buhay.”

MPDJ Celebrates Nutrition Month Through a Flavorful Cooking Contest 🍽️🌱

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the Mountain Province District Jail successfully conducted a Cooking Contest participated by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), Personnel, and MPSU Criminology Interns. The activity, generously sponsored by Ms. Winifred G Cue, Founding President/Center Administrator of Northland Technical Institute, Inc., showcased not only culinary skills and creativity but also promoted the importance of proper nutrition, teamwork, and wellness.

The participants prepared nutritious and delicious dishes while demonstrating resourcefulness, discipline, and camaraderie. More than a competition, the event served as a meaningful avenue for strengthening relationships among PDL, personnel, and interns while reinforcing the value of healthy food choices and a balanced lifestyle.

LOOK || During the BJMP-CAR 2nd Quarter CY 2026 Management Conference, the Mountain Province District Jail under the steadfast leadership of JCINSP JOHN S MELECIO, Acting Jail Warden, was recognized for its outstanding performance, earning several awards that reflect its commitment to excellence in jail management and public service.

🍞🥕🌿 Empowering Through Skills Development! 🌿🥕🍞

The Mountain Province District Jail successfully conducted a Veggie Bread Making Training in collaboration with KHAI Academy Inc. This activity provided the PDL participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing nutritious and innovative bread products using vegetables as key ingredients. KHAI Academy Inc. is a TESDA-accredited training institution that offers Bread and Pastry Production programs.

The training aims to enhance the skills and livelihood opportunities of the PDL, equipping them with valuable competencies that may help them become productive and self-reliant individuals upon their reintegration into society.

MPDJ extends its sincere appreciation to KHAI Academy for sharing their expertise and supporting the Bureau's rehabilitation and development programs for the PDL.
