PGENRO Eastern Samar Joins 2026 Philippine Arbor Day 🌳🌱
The Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PGENRO) of Eastern Samar took part in the 2026 Philippine Arbor Day tree-growing activity on June 25, 2026, at Brgy. Canyupay, Borongan City.
With the theme “Luntiang Bukas: Arbor Day 2026 – Green, Clean, and Climate-Ready Filipino Communities,” this initiative highlights our collective commitment to environmental protection, forest restoration, and climate resilience.
The activity, spearheaded by PENRO-DENR Eastern Samar, gathered various government agencies, including the PNP, PCG, OPAS, AFP, PDRRMO, BFP, BLGU of Canyupay, and the City Government of Borongan. The collective participation reflects a strong commitment to environmental conservation and the shared vision of greener and resilient province.
