Padayon nga ginpapakusog han Sangguniang Panlalawigan an ira lehislatibo nga mga katungdanan pinaagi han paghisgot ngan pag-aprobar han mga pamaagi nga makakabulig ha kauswagan ngan kaupayan han mga mulopyo han probinsya.

On June 9, 2026, Board Member Timmy Arago Campomanes attended the 50th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, where several important matters concerning the development and welfare of Eastern Samar was deliberated.

Among the agendas discussed was a resolution authorizing the Provincial Governor to enter into, sign, and perform all acts necessary and incidental to the proposed Memorandum of Agreement between BAYI, Inc. and the Provincial Local Government Unit. The agreement aims to establish a partnership for the implementation of the SHIFT (Supporting Humanitarian Initiative for Transformation) Asia Project Phase 2: WLHL (Women’s Local Humanitarian Leadership) – Local Convening in Eastern Samar.

The initiative seeks to strengthen women’s participation and leadership in humanitarian action, disaster preparedness, and community resilience by providing opportunities for capacity-building, collaboration, and meaningful engagement at the local level.

BM Timmy expressed support for programs that empower women leaders and promote inclusive, community-driven development, recognizing their vital role in building stronger and more resilient communities across the province.

✨🎉 GRAND FIESTA BALL 2026 🎉✨

The Celebration of the Grand Fiesta Ball held on May 27, 2026, as part of the Maslog Annual Town Fiesta in honor of St. Isidore the Farmer, was truly a night of elegance, unity, and celebration.

The event was graced by the presence of Governor RV Evardone and SPM Timotea Campomanes-Barizo welcomed by the LGU Officials under the leadership of Septemio C. Santiago and Zacarias C. Santiago together with the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The Grand Fiesta Ball was attended by the different offices and national agencies comprising the LGU, alongside the officials and employees of the 12 barangays of Maslog. Visitors and balikbayans also joined the memorable celebration, making the evening more meaningful and festive.

The night was further adorned with beautifully prepared booths by the different barangays, offices, and national agencies of the Local Government Unit, all showcasing creativity and unity in line with this year’s fiesta theme, “Fiesta sa Nayon.”

Indeed, the Grand Fiesta Ball showcased the unity, camaraderie, and vibrant spirit of the people of Maslog as one community in celebrating this year’s town fiesta.
