Tacloban's Vegetable Market: Validating the planned intervention with potential buyers of ZOA-assisted farmers' produce. The visit explored to understand buyers' practices and preferences, as well as their advises how best to connect farmers from the remote project areas to this very thriving vegetable market. The result was very encouraging!

In a ZOA Philippines' Hand-over Ceremony with the theme, Building Homes, Restoring Lives held in San Isidro, Hernani this afternoon, another 140 families formally received their ownership to the newly completed one room shelter and newly repaired houses in two communities. A total of 1400 families in 6 municipalities in Eastern Samar whose houses were either totally destroyed or partially damaged by typhoon Yolanda have benefited from ZOA's Shelter Assistance project.

ZOA Philippines formal hand-over of completed houses in Bangon, Balangkayan, Eastern Samar. A total of 1,400 families in 6 municipalities were assisted since beginning of 2014 and are scheduled to be completed with certificate of ownerships handed over to the beneficiary families this month.
