Personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Bubong participated in the Fire Suppression Training conducted by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Lanao del Sur on August 26–28, 2026, held at Cadayonan II, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and operational readiness of MDRRMO responders in preventing, controlling, and suppressing fires, as well as in responding safely and effectively to fire-related emergencies.

Fire suppression training is vital for MDRRMO responders because it equips them with the proper firefighting techniques, use of firefighting equipment, safety procedures, teamwork, and emergency response protocols needed during fire incidents. Through continuous capacity building, responders become better prepared to act quickly, safely, and effectively, helping minimize the loss of lives, injuries, and property.

🏆 Champions of Faith — Municipal Qur’an Reading Competition, Bubong ✨

Alhamdulillah! The Municipal Qur’an Reading Competition was held today, August 29, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Montia-an, Bubong. Participants from different barangays showcased devotion and excellent recitation skills. We congratulate every contestant for their dedication and respect for the Qur’an.

Special recognition to our guest speaker, MP Atty. Alirakim Tocalo Munder, whose inspiring and heartfelt message reminded us of the lasting value of Qur’anic knowledge in strengthening faith and guiding community life. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Municipal Mayor Alfais Tocalo Munder for his steadfast leadership and continued support for faith-based programs that foster unity and opportunities for growth in Bubong.

LoGFA 2026: Provincial Validation in Bubong

Validators from the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) – Lanao del Sur, headed by Provincial Director Cader D. Indar, Jr., MPA, successfully conducted the Local Governance Functional Appraisal (LoGFA) Provincial Validation in the Municipality of Bubong, Lanao del Sur on August 26, 2026. The activity aimed to assess and strengthen local governance functionality in line with national and regional standards.

Special recognition is due to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Alfais Tocalo Munder, whose visionary leadership, hands-on coordination, and unwavering commitment ensured the smooth preparation and ex*****on of this important validation. His dedication to excellence in public service continues to inspire our entire LGU and sets a strong example for good governance in Bubong.

Botong Bangsamoro 2026 | Electoral Board Briefing

An Electoral Board Briefing was held in Bubong, Lanao del Sur, on August 18, 2026, in preparation for Botong Bangsamoro 2026. Present during the activity were Election Officer Amenodin S. Cadinor, Municipal Mayor Alfais T. Munder, members of the Electoral Board, concerned LGU representatives, and other stakeholders.

The briefing served as an important venue to strengthen coordination, clarify responsibilities, and ensure readiness for a peaceful, orderly, transparent, and credible electoral process for the people of Bubong.

The Local Government Unit of Bubong participated in the Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) Training conducted by the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) on August 10 to 14, 2026 at De Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

The five-day training enhanced the knowledge and skills of local government practitioners in assessing climate and disaster risks, identifying vulnerable areas and communities and developing risk-informed plans and strategies.

This activity demonstrates the LGU Bubong continued commitment to strengthening climate resilience, improving disaster preparedness and building safer and more resilient communities.

NAPOLCOM BARMM Conducts Inspection, Assessment, and LCE Monitoring in Bubong, Lanao del Sur

The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) BARMM, led by Atty. Norhussien U. Lauban, conducted a courtesy visit to Honorable Mayor Alfais Tocalo Munder at the Office of the Local Chief Executive, Municipal Hall of Bubong, Lanao del Sur, on August 6, 2026, as part of its Inspection, Assessment, and Local Chief Executive (LCE) Monitoring.

The activity was undertaken in coordination with the Municipal Police Station of Bubong, Lanao del Sur, headed by Chief of Police PCPT Neil G. Salaan, to assess the implementation of policies and programs on peace and order initiatives and to further strengthen inter-agency coordination.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of NAPOLCOM BARMM, the Philippine National Police, and the Local Government of Bubong to promote transparency, accountability, and effective public service delivery.
