📣 CLASS AND WORK SUSPENSION ANNOUNCEMENT | November 7, 2025

In light of the latest PAG-ASA forecast regarding Severe Tropical Storm "Fung-Wong" , the Department of Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (DepEd-CAR) has issued Regional Memorandum No. 836, s. 2025, announcing the suspension of classes and work across all schools and offices in the region.

🌀 Fung-Wong is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by midnight or early Saturday morning, with a potential Wind Signal No. 5.

⏰ Suspension Schedule:

🔹Classes and school work: Suspended starting 3:00 PM today
🔹Regional and division offices: Suspended starting 4:00 PM today

🏫 All school personnel are advised to:

-Secure instructional materials and electronic devices
-Lock windows and doors
-Unplug equipment and turn off lights
-Secure loose outdoor items
-Check drainage systems to prevent flooding

4th Quarter Earthquake Drill at Dugong ES 🛑

Today, Dugong Elementary School successfully conducted its 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), reinforcing our commitment to safety and preparedness.

Learners and school personnel actively participated in the simulation, practicing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique and following proper evacuation procedures. The drill aimed to strengthen awareness and ensure everyone knows what to do in case of a real earthquake.
