START OF APPLICATION FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES ASSISTANCE

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ilayang Wasay announces the opening of applications for the School Supplies Assistance Program for eligible youth residents.

📌 Qualifications:
• Must be a resident of Barangay Ilayang Wasay
• Must be 15 to 30 years old
• Currently enrolled in Junior High School or Senior High School for School Year 2026–2027

📅 Application Period:
June 8–30, 2026

📄 Requirements:
• Certificate of Enrollment
• School ID
If School ID is not available, any valid ID may be submitted.
If no valid ID is available, a Barangay Residency Certificate may be submitted instead.
• Accomplished Application Form

📍 Submission Venue:
Barangay Ilayang Wasay Covered Court/SK Chairperson Residence

All qualified youth are encouraged to submit their complete requirements on or before June 30, 2026. Incomplete submissions may not be processed.

This initiative aims to provide essential school supplies and support the educational needs of our youth as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

👟 Sapatos sa Kabataan: Hakbang ng Pag-asa Program
December 21, 2025 | Brgy. Ilayang Wasay, Buenavista, Quezon

As part of the Hakbang ng Pag-asa Program, the Sangguniang Kabataan proudly distributed school shoes to our high school students in Brgy. Ilayang Wasay. 🥿✨

This initiative aims to support our youth by providing them with the proper footwear to start the school year with confidence and comfort. Every step they take toward their education matters, and we want to make sure they have what they need to succeed. 👟📚

A huge congratulations to our SK Chairperson, Danica P. Rabi, for being invited as one of the Resource Speakers at the Student Leadership Training: Inspiring Leaders to Lead organized by Cabong Elementary School! 🌟

During the session, Chairperson Danica shared her knowledge and insights on the powerful topic of Self-Awareness and Personal Leadership—an essential foundation for any aspiring leader. Her message focused on understanding oneself, embracing strengths and weaknesses, and using that self-awareness to lead with integrity, confidence, and purpose. 💡✨

It was a proud moment for the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Ilayang Wasay to be represented at such an important event that encourages and empowers young leaders in our community. We are so proud of Chairperson Danica for sharing her experience and inspiring the future leaders of tomorrow! 👏
