๐๐ข๐ข๐: With PhilHealthโs mandate to expand benefits and ensure access for all Filipinos to quality and affordable health care services pursuant to the Universal Health Care Act of 2019, a YAKAP Caravan was conducted today, Sep. 7, with Liza Joyce Q. Songcayawon, SIA I/YAKAP Focal Person, and Camille A. Lima, Clerk III/ Membership Focal Person, representing LHIO Antique.
The aforementioned IEC initiative, which aims to showcase the Yaman ng Kalusugan Benefit Package, was made possible as part of the celebration of PhilHealthโs 31st anniversary with a theme, โKa-YAKAP ang Pilipino sa kalusugang Sigurado!โ.
Acting Mayor Susan V. Escote, as represented by Breccio Ostan, Jr., graced the event, along with the attendees, including Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Punong Barangays, Kagawad for Health, and the entire Bugasong Primary Care Facility family, headed by Dr. Irma J. Adayon, MHO, ably assisted by Dr. Donelle Camiรฑa, Doctor to the Barrio (DTTB), and PHN Janet C. Quiatson, Accreditation and Licensing Point Person.
The activity included the provision of YAKAP services, including First Patient Encounter (FPE), consultation, and GAMOT availment, with assistance from PhilHealth representatives for YAKAP clinic assignment, but no MDR or ID issuance.
