Bugasong, Antique Bugasong "Bugas sa Lusong" DO YOU KNOW THAT…

Bugasong came from “Bugas Sa Lusong” meaning rice in the mortar. Cubay means row or line.

Arangote became a barangay during the term of the late Mayor Candido Arangote in 1946. Bagtason derived from ‘Nabagtas ron' or ‘namarhan' meaning already dried up leaving the fish and shrimp in dry land. Caloy-ahan is the land of the ginger. Camangahan means the land of the mangoes. Jinalinan comes from “ginhalinan kang suba” or left by the river. Lacayon means mixed grains or cereals. Madarag came from the word Malay, our forefathers. Pangalcagan came from “pangalcal” meaning exhume the dead. Tagudtud came from a couple named TAGuy and GUDay who lived in the pukaTUD (hill). Talisay is a tree. Tono-an came from a couple named TONO and ANA. Zaragoza is a town in Spain , birthplace of STA. LUCIA, the patron saint.

WARA RON KANG QUARANTINE, SWAB TEST, MEDICAL KAG TRAVEL CERTIFICATE SA ANTIQUE

Indi ron kinahanglan pa ang quarantine, swab test, medical kag travel certificate pasulod sa Antique santu sa bag-o nga protocol.

Suno kay Governor Rhodora Cadiao nga dya ang ginsunod basi naman sa National Inter-Agency Task Force (NIATF) Resolution No. 101 kun sa diin gina-implementar ang uniform travel protocols sa bilog nga pungsod.

“We have to follow this IATF resolution”, pahayag ni Governor Rhodora “Dodod” Cadiao.

Nadesisyunan kang Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (PIATF) nga indi ron kinahanglan pa ang 14-day quarantine, Medical Certificate, kag Authority to Travel documents sa mga magapadulong sa probinsya kang Antique.

Kinahanglan lamang kang mga travelers nga mag presentar kang Letters of Coordination and Acceptance halin sa receiving Local Government Units (LGU) ukon ang magabaton nga banwa agud ma-monitor anda pag-abot.

Sa pagsulod sa probinsya, ang mga travelers ang ipaidalom sa health assessment kun sa indi "compulsory" ang RT-PCR test bangod dya ang tuman ka mahal sa mga indi makasarang magbayad.

Dugang pa nga ang mga symptomatic travelers ang ipaidalom sa quarantine kag gi tugyanan ang mga Baranggay Health Workers nga magmonitor kang anda simtoma sa anda balay.

Ginkuon man ni Cadiao nga ang pagkakas kang quarantine ang makabulig sa mga LGU nga mapamag-an ang ginapas-an ilabi rugid sa nagahubas nga pondo kag makapoy nga mga frontliners.

Samtang, ginkakas naman ang liqour restriction nga anay naga limitar kang oras kang pagbakal kag kaduruhon kang alcoholic beverages sa probinsya.

Ginhalin man ang curfew hours nga anay las-10:00 sa gab-e kag dya ang gin-isol halin las-12:00 kang kasanagon asta las 4:00 sa kasanagon.
