The Department of Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (DepEd-CAR) calls on the public to join in prayer for the safety, protection, and well-being of all learners and school personnel, especially amid recent incidents of violence in schools. The prayer seeks God’s protection, guidance, healing, and peace for the entire school community.

To the DepEd-CAR family: Through Regional Memorandum No. 749, s. 2026, the Ecumenical Prayer for the Safety of School Children is to be recited during flag ceremonies and school programs and activities.

To the public: We invite everyone to join us in prayer for every child to be safe, for every school to be a place of peace, and for every learner to be able to study, dream, and grow without fear.

Together, let us pray for safer schools where every child can learn without fear, dream without limits, and grow surrounded by care and compassion.
