The Municipality of Buguias celebrates the successful conduct of the ceremonial groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony for the irrigation project in Sitio Bayoyo.

The activity was led by NIA-CAR Regional Manager Ronilio Cervantes and Benguet Provincial Head Chester Laplana, and attended by Mr. Ryan Mang-usan, representing Hon. Kenneth Tereng of the KM Party-List; Mr. Mario Baucas, representing Governor Melchor Diclas; Councilors Wilnar Tolida and Jose Bayas, representing Mayor Julius M. Amos; Barangay Chairperson Simon Guinid, Sr.; leaders of various Irrigators' Associations from Buguias and neighboring municipalities; and other stakeholders.

We honor his dedicated service, exemplary leadership, and steadfast commitment to the development and welfare of our community until his passing. His selfless contributions will forever be etched in the history of our barangay and municipality.

The Municipality of Buguias proudly congratulates the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science students from Benguet State University for successfully completing their required 240-hour internship at the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), under the guidance and supervision of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, EnP. Abner O. Lawangen.

Throughout their internship, the students actively participated in environmental management initiatives, local development planning, and field assessments, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the municipality's sustainable development efforts.
