Mayor Rey P. Lacoste reaffirmed his administration’s strong support for education during the Ceremonial Signing of the Deed of Donation and Memorandum of Agreement for the school lot of Dautil Watkins National High School, in commemoration of the school's 2nd Foundation Anniversary. He also expressed his gratitude to Congressman Miguel Luis R. Villafuerte and Governor Luis Raymund F. Villafuerte for their unrelenting advocacy of projects that advance education and infrastructure in the Municipality of Buhi.
The event formalized the generous land donation made by Mr. Joshua Watkins and Mrs. Trinidad Dautil-Watkins, securing a permanent site for the institution. Mayor Lacoste extended his support by mobilizing LGU resources and ensuring that the school’s needs remain part of Buhi’s development priorities.
In his message, Mayor Rey P. Lacoste lauded the donors for their generosity and steadfast commitment to education. He also extended his appreciation to all individuals and institutions who worked together to make the donation and signing possible, emphasizing that such collective efforts embody the true spirit of community partnership and shared vision for progress.
