With commitment to continuous growth and learning, the 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, together with the Local Youth Development Office and student-leaders of Bula, attended the 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 at the Summit Hotel, Naga City, last August 18-19, 2026.

An event initiated by the Metro Naga Development Council, the forum served as a platform to empower young leaders across the region, an opportunity to gain knowledge, connect with fellow youth, foster active community participation, and provided valuable lessons that will help the participants to hone their leadership skills.

Anchored with the theme "Empowered Youth, Stronger Communities, Sustainable Future," this activity truly made a remarkable impact toward the attendees, encouraging them to unlock their full potential and step up as leaders of the future.

JULY 30, 2026 | PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE YOUTH WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT CODE

The Sangguniang Bayan of Bula conducted a Public Consultation on the proposed ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance Enacting the Comprehensive Youth Welfare and Development Code in the Municipality of Bula, Providing Funds Therefor, and for Other Purposes."

The proposed measure was sponsored by the Committee on Ordinances and Legal Matters through Hon. Sherlyn Joy R. Hombre, together with Municipal Youth Legislators Ron Avery Ystelle C. Baldovia, Nike Schierre Anciano, and John Paul Gomez.

The scheduled Public Hearing commenced at 2:00 PM to allow additional time for the arrival of committee members. After the roll call, the Committee Secretary declared no quorum among the Sangguniang Bayan Committee Members. A subsequent roll call of the Municipal Youth Legislators established a quorum, resulting in the activity being converted into a Public Consultation.

The consultation was attended by elected Sangguniang Kabataan officials from various barangays, youth organizations, concerned offices, the Philippine National Police (PNP), Public Schools District Supervisors of Bula, youth officials, and other youth members of the community.

The Public Hearing will be rescheduled subject to the availability of the committee members. Despite the change in format, the consultation was productive, with participants raising significant concerns, receiving clarifications, and providing valuable recommendations that were duly noted to further enhance the proposed ordinance.

In celebration of the 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉, the Bula Municipal Youth Officials joined the 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 successfully held last July 25, 2026 by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Bula (MDRRMO Bula) at Brgy. Sto. Niño, Bula, Camarines Sur.

The Tree Planting initiative led by LDRRMO III Mr. Joseph G. Antioquia, in partnership with local agencies and organizations within Bula, is vital to achieve the key environmental goal of the municipality: to build a greener, more resilient Bula.

In commitment to environmental protection and disaster risk reduction, the BMYO extends their gratitude to the MDRRMO Bula, its partners, and the community volunteers of Brgy. Sto. Niño who extended their support and significantly contributed to the implementation of the said initiative.

The Bula Municipal Youth Organization (BMYO) convened its 4th General Assembly at the Liga ng mga Barangay Session Hall on July 16, 2026, to finalize preparations for the municipality's upcoming fiesta activities.

Among the matters discussed were the conduct of the BMYO Busking for Youth 2026, participation in the LGU Night and Youth Night, assignment of volunteers, and other organizational responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of the scheduled events.

The assembly also served as a venue to reinforce coordination, teamwork, and active participation among youth officials in support of the municipality's 448th Town Fiesta celebration.
