This week, we honor strength, resilience, and unconditional love as we celebrate Solo Parents Week (April 13โ18, 2026)!
With the theme โHindi ka Nag-iisa sa Iyong Pag-iisa: Yakap at Kalinga para sa Solo Parent,โ the Schools Division of Bulacan joins the nation in recognizing the invaluable role of solo parents who courageously nurture, guide, and provide for their families despite lifeโs challenges.
Through Republic Act No. 11861, also known as the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act, the government reaffirms its commitment to uphold the rights and welfare of solo parents by providing expanded benefits, stronger support systems, and inclusive programs that ensure they are not left behind.
๐ฃ In line with this celebration, we invite all interested personnel of SDO Bulacanโwhether solo parent or notโto join the Webinar on Republic Act No. 11861 (Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act) tomorrow, Friday, April 17, 2026 (9:00 AM โ 11:00 AM), to be streamed live via the Official page of the DepEd National GFPS Secretariat.
