| Nagsagawa ng kani-kanilang aktibidad ang Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) at mga Regional Fish Port (RFP) bilang suporta sa 2025 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) mula Nobyembre 25 hanggang Disyembre 12, 2025.

Bilang pagtalima sa taunang temang ""UNITED for a VAW-free Philippines", layunin ng campaign na wakasan ang kahit na anong uri ng karahasan sa mga kababaihan sa loob at labas ng opisina.

Nagsagawa ng opening program ang PFDA - Central Office (CO) sa pamamagitan ng PFDA - Gender and Development Focal Point System (PFDA-GFPS) noong Nobyembre 24, 2025, kung saan tinakay ang pagtataguyod ng safe spaces sa mga workplace upang matiyak na ang bawat opisina ay malaya sa anumang uri ng karahasan.

Lalo namang pinalawak ng PFDA- General Santos Fish Port Complex (PFDA-GSFPC) ang kanilang kaalaman tungkol sa VAW sa pamamagitan ng isang seminar na tinalakay ang Republic Act (R.A.) 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Act of 2004 noong Disyembre 2, 2025.

Nagsagawa naman ang PFDA-Iloilo Fish Port Complex (PFDA-IFPC) ng seminar tungkol sa Safe Spaces Act of 2019 (R.A. 11313) o ang Bawal Bastos Law. Layunin ng seminar na palawakin ang kaalaman tungkol sa mga legal na proteksyon laban sa gender-based sexual harassment (GBSH) at itaguyod ang mas ligtas at may respeto na mga lugar.

Nakilahok naman ang PFDA - Lucena Fish Port Complex (PFDA-LFPC) sa kick-off ceremony ng 18-Day Campaign to End VAW sa Quezon Convention Center. Ang aktibidad ay kilala bilang Provincial Men’s Day (Desk Officers Assembly) ay nagpakita ng Men Oppose Violence Everywhere (M.O.V.E.) Program ng Quezon Province. Ang M.O.V.E. initiative ay naghihikayat sa mga kalalakihan na aktibong laban sa lahat ng anyo ng karahasan laban sa kababaihan.

Nagsagawa naman ang Philippine Fisheries Development Authority - Bulan Fish Port Complex (PFDA-BFPC) ng isang art initiative kasama ang GAMMA Management and Consultancy Services, Sorsogon State University - Bulan Campus and Obra Arts Studio na may temang “Through the tides, a community sailing to a VAW-free and empowered future”.

Nagsagawa din ng kick-off program ang Philippine Fisheries Development Authority - Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC) noong Nobyembre 24, 2025. Bukod dito, nagkaroon din ng one-day orientation na may temang “Safe Homes, Strong Hearts: Knowing Our Rights” noong Disyembre 12, 2025 na ginanap sa PFDA-NFPC GAD Center.

Nagsagawa din ng programa ang PFDA - Davao Fish Port Complex (PFDA-DFPC). Nakiisa din sa campaign ang Pfda Camaligan Fish Port (PFDA-CFP) at Pfda Sual Fish Port (PFDA-SFP).

Nakiisa din ang PFDA - Zamboanga Fish Port Complex (PFDA-ZFPC) sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng programa at pag-post ng quote cards ng mga kababaihang sumusuporta sa pagwakas ng VAW.

Ang mga aktibidad na ito ay isang palatandaan ng pagsuporta ng buong PFDA sa pagwakas ng VAW at ang pagsuporta sa pagkakapantay-pantay ng bawat tao.

PFDA–Bulan Fish Port Complex shares highlights from the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women held last December 12, 2025. We extend our sincere gratitude to GAMMA Speaks, Sorsogon State University - Bulan Campus, and OBRA Art Studio for their valuable partnership and support in the successful conduct of this advocacy activity.

We also thank the participants from various agencies and schools for their active involvement, including Local Government Unit of Bulan, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard, Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus, R.G. De Castro Colleges, A.G. Villaroya Technological Institute Inc., Solis Institute Inc., Bulan National High School, and San Francisco National High School.

Together, we strengthen our collective commitment to ending violence against women and building safer, more inclusive communities. 💙
