TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) PROGRAM ON MEANINGFUL CHILD PARTICIPATION

The Local Youth Development Office of Maguindanao del Sur participated in the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Meaningful Child Participation organized by Community and Family Services International (CFSI) in collaboration with the UNICEF, KOICA, MSSD, RSCWC, BYC and MILG held at Habi Hotel, Koronadal City from July 8-10, 2025.

This activity aimed to ignite meaningful child participation, fueling a brighter future for them.

By building the capacity of key stakeholders, this initiative paves the way for Child-Friendly Local Governance (CFLG) and Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) mandates to thrive, ensuring every child's voice is heard and valued.

The Local Youth Development Office successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Provincial Youth Development Council Meeting held at the Provincial Capitol, Buluan, Maguindanao Del Sur February 27, 2025 attended by the Municipal Youth Development Officers and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Presidents together with the Youth Serving Organization Presidents in the Province of Maguindanao Del Sur.

The said meeting focused on the plan and activities to be conducted during this Quarter which highlights the Launching of the Women’s Month Celebrations in partnership with the Provincial Gender and Development. 4H Barkadan Club by the Provincial Agriculture Office also presented its Plans and Activities as well as the Opportunities of Young Farmers Program.
