MAFAR Buluan acts like " The Flash "; reaches out to vulnerable amid crisis
As a powerful expression of their unwavering commitment and unequivocal support to " Moral Governance ", MAFAR Buluan team of extension workers leaves no stone unturned to reaching out to vulnerable and the most underserved.
Living up to the expectations of Babo and Bapa, the MAFAR-Buluan
field office continues to creating nothing short of a remarkable stories of dedicated extension services; marked degree of unselfishness, and little acts of kindness.
Today March 08, 2024, as they warmly welcome the " Holy Month of Ramadhan " with humility, it is with a joyful heart filled with compassion that they wholeheartedly and unconditionally share blessings by giving away small pack of food items to their local development partners, " Women in Agri- Fishery Enterprise Development ".
From among thousands of women engaged in agri-fishery related activities, they identified and prioritized the most vulnerable and underserved harshly affected by the skyrocketing inflation. Beneficiaries are twenty five women from barangay Lower Siling, fifteen from barangay Poblacion, all actively engaged in veggie production and marketing, and another thirty five from barangay Popol and Maslabeng in dried fish production and marketing. For veggie growers, each received and brought home well-milled V-160 rice, twin pack 3 in 1 coffee, and assorted vegetable seeds from MAFAR- Maguindanao. Each fish processor also has well- milled V-160 rice, twin pack 3 in 1 coffee.
MAFAR-Buluan goes beyond organizational mandates, embraces a little of philanthropic social responsibility. Indeed, its commitment to " diversity and inclusion " remains unfolding !
