In pursuit of transparent governance, the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (OPPDC) conducted a thorough document review for the Local Government Functionality Appraisal (LoGFA). Serving as the technical lead, the OPPDC collaborated directly with the focal persons of the seven core elements of local functionality to validate their Means of Verification (MOVs).

The team comprehensively scrutinized institutional foundations, legislative records, and Local Special Bodies' minutes, while simultaneously checking the alignment of the Annual Investment Program (AIP) with the budget, emergency service logs, and Full Disclosure Policy compliance.

Rather than a mere paperwork check, this integrated session served as a hands-on workshop where the OPPDC provided immediate technical assistance to resolve documentation gaps and improve record digitization. Following the initial review, the team will conduct a strategic second round of document reviews to verify compliance adjustments, validate newly submitted records, and ensure that all corrective actions were accurately reflected.
