Has issued a notice or communication letter regarding the implementation of the "Guidelines of the Philippines Fisheries Code of 1998 (RA No. 8550, as amended by RA No. 10564, an Act to prevent, deter, and eliminate IUU fishing), its guidelines, and Fisheries Administrative Order No. 233, Series of 2010."
The purpose of issuing this notice or communication letter to neighboring areas or cities is to establish strong cooperation in issuing the so-called Local Transport Permit (LTP) for inspected quality fisheries products from Buluan Municipality, especially those sourced from Lake Buluan.
All shippers or dealers of fisheries products from Buluan who transport and ship to distant or neighboring areas or cities are required to secure an LTP, which is issued by Mafar Buluan.
The LTP provided by Mafar Buluan to our shippers and dealers will serve as a gate pass and must be presented at checkpoints or boundaries when leaving the Buluan Municipality.
