ASSCAT Approved as Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) Under CHED’s 2025 SIKAP Program

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) proudly announces its recent approval as a Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) under the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) 2025 Scholarship for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP).

In an official communication dated July 31, 2025, CHED granted ASSCAT the authority to offer the following graduate programs under the SIKAP scholarship scheme:

✔ Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture
✔ Doctor of Philosophy in Education Leadership (PhD EL)
✔ Doctor of Education in Applied Linguistics (EdD AL)
✔ Master of Science in Agriculture
✔ Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEd EL)
✔ Master of Arts in Education in Applied Linguistics (MAEd AL)

The CHED-SIKAP Program is a national initiative designed to upgrade the qualifications of teaching and non-teaching personnel in higher education institutions. By supporting their pursuit of master’s and doctoral degrees, SIKAP aims to build institutional capacities and enhance the quality of tertiary education across the country.

ASSCAT’s inclusion in the roster of CHED-recognized DHEIs reinforces its commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, and leadership development in both education and agriculture.
