IN PHOTOS | Under the leadership of Acting Municipal Fire Marshal FINSP HERNAN FRANCIS F ENAGE, Burauen Fire Station successfully conducted Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training to Barangay officials including Tanods of Barangay Poblacion District 8. The activity aimed to strengthen community preparedness and enhancing local fire safety capabilities. It also provided participants with essential knowledge on fire prevention, fire safety awareness, emergency response, and the vital role of community volunteers during fire and other emergency incidents.

The Burauen Fire Station remains committed to empowering communities through continuous fire education, collaboration and capacity-building initiatives in support of a safer and more resilient community.

BURAUEN LEYTE— AUGUST 20, 2026 — Under the guidance of Acting Municipal Fire Marshal FINSP HERNAN FRANCIS F ENAGE, personnel of this station conducted lecture on Fire Hose and Fire Nozzle. The different types of stream in using the Fire Nozzle was also introduced. Thorough demonstration and hands-on activity for the interns were also observed.

BURAUEN LEYTE— AUGUST 20, 2026 — The Burauen Fire Station Personnel, spearheaded by Acting Municipal Fire Marshal FINSP HERNAN FRANCIS F ENAGE successfully conducted the first Physical Fitness Test to BCC Criminology Interns. The activity aimed to assess the interns' physical readiness, endurance, and overall fitness which are essential qualities in the performance of firefighting and emergency response.

The Burauen Fire Station commends all BCC Interns for their active participation, dedication and perseverance during the activity.

🚒 OBLIGASYON SA BAYAN, LIGTAS NA PAMAYANAN (OLP) MASTER PLAN: TALAKAYAN AT DAMAYANG PANGKABUHAYAN AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN FOR BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS

Burauen, Leyte – August 20, 2026 – Under the supervision of MFM FINSP HERNAN FRANCIS F ENAGE, Burauen Fire Station duty personnel conducted Talakayan at Damayang Pangkabuhayan and discussed the importance of establishing an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) with business establishments in Poblacion District 8, Burauen, Leyte.

The activity provided business owners and workers with essential knowledge on fire prevention, hazard identification, emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, proper use of fire extinguishers, and coordinated response during emergencies.
Through this initiative, the BFP aims to help business establishments develop practical emergency measures, minimize fire risks, protect lives and properties.

🚒BURAUEN, LEYTE — AUGUST 19, 2026 — Under the supervision of Acting Municipal Fire Marshal FINSP HERNAN FRANCIS F ENAGE, the Burauen Community College Criminology Interns participated in an informative lecture and demonstration on proper Donning and Doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conducted by Burauen Fire Station personnel.

The lecture highlights the importance of proper use of PPEs adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.

🚒 FIRE TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT INSPECTION

Personnel of Burauen Fire Station conducted routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the fire truck and firefighting equipment to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for use.
