This milestone brings us one step closer to providing safe, quality, and accessible animal bite treatment and rabies prevention services to our fellow Burgoseños.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2026-009 🚑

The Municipality of Burgos announces the implementation of Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-009.

🚑 AMBULANCE SERVICE IS FREE FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

During Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, ambulance service shall remain FREE for emergency cases, including:

a) Life-threatening emergencies and emergency hospital transfers;
b)Victims of accidents or natural disasters requiring transport to a hospital; and
c) Qualified indigent patients with a Certificate of Indigency from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

For NON-EMERGENCY or NON-URGENT cases during Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, applicable ambulance service fees shall be collected. These include:

a)Routine medical check-ups;
b) Scheduled outpatient procedures;
c)and Non-urgent hospital transfers.

Please refer to the accompanying infographic for the applicable ambulance service fees and other guidelines.

Through this ordinance, the Municipal Government of Burgos continues its commitment to providing accessible, responsive, and affordable ambulance services to every Burgoseño.
