August 20, 2026 | LGU Confers Commendations on NASH Passers
The Local Government Unit of Burgos, Ilocos Sur headed by Mayor Annabelle Filart Escobar together with Vice Mayor Riolita R. Balbalan and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan recognized and honored seven education professionals from the municipality who successfully passed the National Assessment for School Heads (NASH) and the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) through the conferring of Plaques of Commendation personally from Mayor Escobar and Resolutions of Commendation from the Sangguniang Bayan Office.
The recognition highlights the dedication, competence, and commitment of the awardees in advancing quality education and demonstrating excellence in school leadership and management.
The NQESH awardee is:
Mr. Ronaldo A. Dalit, School Principal II of Teodoro Hernaez National High School, Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur; &
The NASH awardees are:
Ms. Jenifer C. Dayag, School Principal I of Mambug Elementary School;
Dr. Edna C. Castillo, School Principal I of Burgos Central School;
Dr. Julius S. Pilorin, Master Teacher III of Burgos National High School;
Dr. Solon C. Ponsoy, Head Teacher III of Macaoayan Community School;
Dr. Maria Niña B. Macabeo, Master Teacher II and Teacher-in-Charge of Patac Elementary School; and
Mr. Benito B. Dagdag, Head Teacher III of Burgos National High School.
The LGU extends its warmest congratulations to the seven NASH passers and commends their perseverance and commitment to professional excellence. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to fellow educators and a source of pride to their respective schools and the community.
