During the Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 13, 2026, under the leadership of Hon. Allan P. Dagohoy, Chairperson of the PRAISE Committee, the following personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and participating representatives from the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, and Office of the Municipal Health Officer were recognized for their exemplary performance and invaluable contribution to the Municipality of Buruanga's achievement of an 85.25% rating in the Provincial Assessment of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) for Calendar Year 2025:

The Local Government Unit of Buruanga proudly participated in the 2-day Conversation with Local Executives organized by the Civil Service Commission Region VI, held on July 7โ€“8, 2026 at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City, with this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œPower in Action: The Authority and Limits of Local Government Officials.โ€

Headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Allan P. Dagohoy, the LGU Buruanga delegation was composed of 17 participants, including our legislative officials: Vice Mayor Femy C. Dumaguin, SB Member Rheo C. Patricio, SB Member Joeven Q. Malayas, SB Member Geneveive O. Tabo, SB Member Concepcion P. Labindao, SB Member Annie Liza L. Yeban, SB Member Benito P. Sualog, SB Member Robert M. Obrique, SB Member Gerald A. Panagsagan, and PPSK President Hon. Kyn Reymund L. Casuncad.

Joining them were our department heads and selected employees: Mr. Duffy Von C. Prado, HRMO, Engr. Mariel L. Angel, Mrs. Michelle Rose L. Casuncad, SB Secretary, Municipal Engineer, Mr. Victor Brian R. Sualog, LDRRMO, and Ms. Allondra Nica L. Sim, Administrative Officer II.
