The Municipality of Butig successfully facilitated the settlement of a Rido involving parties from Barangay Dolangan, Butig, Lanao del Sur, today, August 11, 2026, at the Session Hall, Municipal Hall, Butig.

The settlement was headed by Hon. Atty. Dimnatang BL. Pansar, Vice Mayor, with the participation of the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, the Chief of Police, and Hon. Mubarak H. Aba, Punong Barangay of Dolangan.

In the spirit of Islam, reconciliation and peaceful settlement are highly valued. Allah سبحانه وتعالى reminds us:

“If two groups of believers fight each other, then make peace between them. If one group transgresses against the other, fight against the transgressing group until it is willing to submit to the rule of Allah. If it does so, then make peace between both groups in all fairness and act justly. Surely Allah loves those who uphold justice.”
— Qur’an 49:9

Today’s successful settlement reflects the power of dialogue, forgiveness, understanding, and reconciliation. May this peaceful resolution strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the families and communities of Dolangan and contribute to lasting peace in the Municipality of Butig.

It is our honor and privilege to host this multi-agency outreach activity in observance of the 48th National Disability Rights Week right here in our municipality. We also recognize and commend our Municipal Social Welfare Officer Ms. Nadia Bubong, and our local team for their tireless efforts in coordinating this initiative. As she rightly shared, meaningful service requires more than good intentions—it needs strong partnership to ensure every person receives equal opportunity, fair access, and lives with dignity.

From assessments for assistive devices, medical assistance, and welfare packages, to free check-ups, medicines, and civil registration support—this initiative proves that when we work together, no one is left behind. For our fellow iButigen and all Persons with Disabilities your rights, well-being, and inclusion remain our priority.

We remain committed to strengthening partnerships and delivering compassionate, accessible service for all.
