LGU Butig, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Bin Khalifa Lucman Pansar, proudly expresses its full support and active participation in the 1st and 2nd Public Consultation on the 2026 Proposed Schedule of Market Values conducted by the Office of the Provincial Assessor of Lanao del Sur.

This significant undertaking serves as an essential platform in promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusive consultation in the formulation of updated market values across the province. Through collaborative dialogue among stakeholders, local government units, and concerned sectors, this initiative aims to ensure fair, responsive, and realistic land and property valuation that will contribute to strengthened local governance and sustainable development.

LGU Butig recognizes the importance of participatory governance and remains committed to supporting programs and activities that promote sound fiscal management, equitable taxation, and improved public services for our constituents.

As we continue working together for the progress of our municipalities and the Province of Lanao del Sur, may this consultation further strengthen unity, cooperation, and our shared vision for inclusive and people-centered development.

The Local Government Unit of Butig proudly supports the launching of Project GEMES: “Going the Extra Mile Education Services” Summer Reading Camp — a meaningful initiative led by our dedicated Butig Educators under the leadership of Adaptive Municipal Supervisor Dr. Caroline Marohom and PSDS Dr. Johailah Balt Johailah MB, with the guidance of SDS Anna Zenaida Unte.

This initiative is a strong response to the literacy and numeracy challenges reflected in the 2025-2026 EOSY Assessment Results, ensuring that “No Butig Child is Left Behind.” Anchored on the MBHTE 5Bs Program 2.0 and LGU Butig’s Project BIN (Basic Intervention for Nurturing Readers), the 20-day Summer Reading Camp aims to strengthen the reading and numeracy skills of our learners across 22 schools in Butig.

The LGU of Butig, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Bin Khalifa Lucman Pansar together with Vice Mayor Atty. Jimmy Pansar, remains committed in supporting programs that promote quality education, youth empowerment, and inclusive development. This initiative also serves as part of Butig’s strategic preparation for the Seal of Good Education Governance (SGEG) under the Synergeia Foundation, InshaAllah.

To our hardworking teachers, tutors, school heads, and education partners — your dedication and sacrifices in reaching even our far-flung communities truly embody the spirit of “Going the Extra Mile” for education.
