2026-23: The Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) informs all 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 (𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀) nationwide—including provinces, cities, municipalities, and barangays—that the deadline for the submission of their 2027 Annual Procurement Plan for Common-Use Supplies and Equipment (APP-CSE) is 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
The extension is in accordance with Section 318 of the Republic Act No. 7160 (RA 7160), or the Local Government Code of 1991, which mandates the local chief executive to submit the executive budget to the sanggunian concerned not later than the sixteenth (16th) of October of the current fiscal year.
Meanwhile, the deadline for submission for all other government agencies remains September 15, 2026, as stated in 2026-22 published on August 31, 2026.

Nakipagpulong ang Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) sa Naga City Government bilang bahagi ng paghahanda para sa mas pinalawak na paghahatid ng abot-kayang 𝙥rodukto at abot-kamay na 𝙨erbisyo sa lungsod.

To promote informed decision-making and reproductive health awareness, the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), Health Services Section of the General Services Division, conducted a Family Planning Webinar for its workforce on August 14, 2026.
This event was held in support of the Department of Health’s (DOH) observance of the National Family Planning Month themed “𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙤, 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙤! #𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙏𝙧𝙮𝙈𝙤 “
Anchored in PS-DBM’s 2026 Gender and Development (GAD) Action Plan and guided by Administrative, Finance, and Legal Group Deputy Executive Director (DED) Marlita Dagsa, the webinar aimed to foster a gender-responsive and supportive environment across the PS-DBM workforce. Participated in by nearly 50 personnel, the event featured Dr. Evelyn Vargas-Rimando, Medical Officer V and Family Planning Section Head of the Manila Health Department- Public Health Laboratory, as the subject matter expert and resource person.
Dr. Vargas-Rimando’s presentation detailed key reproductive rights—such as informed choice and freedom from discrimination—while outlining supporting legislation, including Republic Act No. 10354 (RH Act) and Republic Act No. 11223 (Universal Health Care Act).

PS-DBM’s health webinar initiative supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to expand primary health care and preventive health services, while complementing the Department of Budget and Management's commitment, under the leadership of Acting Secretary Kim Robert de Leon, to strengthening government support for family health, responsible parenthood, and family planning—ensuring every Filipino family has equitable access to essential reproductive and maternal health care.
