5. Valid ID

Interested applicants may submit their requirements at the City Civil Registry Department. Only 50 couples will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early.

Human sa 19 ka tuig nga pag-ipon ug aduna nay tulo ka anak, natuman na gyud ang dugay nang pangandoy nila Rodolfo Nalasa ug Jeneve Adolfo sa Barangay Mahogany nga makasal.

Matud sa magtiayon, wala nila damha nga makaapil sila sa programa tungod kay civil wedding ra unta ang ilang plano. Apan pinaagi sa maong inisyatiba, nahimo silang legal nga magtiayon nga walay gasto.

Samtang sila Daryl Dave Arevalo ug Melanie Molina sa Barangay Mahay, nga unom ka tuig nang nag-ipon ug adunay duha ka anak, nagsugod usab og bag-ong chapter sa ilang kinabuhi pinaagi sa kaminyoon aron mas masiguro ang kaugmaon sa ilang pamilya.

Sila usa lamang sa 50 ka magtiayon nga opisyal nga gikasal sa Kinasalay Ngani Butuan, usa ka mass wedding program nga kabahin sa selebrasyon sa Balangay Festival. Ang seremonya gipangunahan ni Mayor Law Fortun nga maoy nag solemnized sa mga couples.

“Sugod karon kamo managtiayon na. Ang inyong desisyon nga pagpakasal usa ka conscious nga desisyon tungod kay nakaila namo sa inyong kapikas. Ang pundasyon sa atong komunidad nagsugod sa pamilya, ug ang pagpalig-on niini dakong kontribusyon alang sa nasud,” matud ni Mayor Fortun.

Natapos ang seremonya sa pagbinayloay sa “I Do” ug paghinagkanay sa mga bag-ong minyo, nga gisundan sa ceremonial cake slicing ug toast nga gipangunahan ni Vice Mayor Rey Desiata.

Duna pa usab gihatag nga wedding gift ang City Government of Butuan alang sa mga bag-ong kasal.

Ang maong inisyatibo gipangunahan sa City Civil Registry Department diin tinguha nga matabangan ang dugay nang nag-ipon nga mahimong legal ang ilang panag-uban ug sa pag legitimize usab sa ilang mga anak.
